If you ever find yourself stuck in a scarcity mindset, go out in nature. Take in the hundreds of trees with their thousands of leaves, the billion blades of grass, the ever-shifting clouds in the vast blue sky, the endlessly flowing waters.
There are more stars than you can ever see, more mountains than you can ever climb, more chocolate than you can ever eat, more songs than you can ever sing, more flowers than you can ever smell, more humans than you can ever intimately know.
Feel your heart that has pumped your blood billions of times, your eyes that have seen more than you could ever consciously remember, your breath that has filled the lungs of billions of beings since time immemorial, the precise intelligence of your body and all its moving parts working synergistically in service of your well-being.
Take a moment to appreciate all the millions of words from thousands of languages available to you for articulating your ideas, of which you only tend to use up to 60,000 words from your own mother tongue. Embrace your voice as one resonant chamber in a global chorus of approximately 7 billion people, each with one’s own timbre, cadence, and quirks.
In moments when the illusion of lack captures your mind and spirit, practice expressing gratitude for the body of Earth and all the ways it nourishes and enriches us, simply by existing.
Free Your Voice: a Monthly Masterclass
April 24, 3pm EST

There’s still room to join the first session of Free Your Voice: a Monthly Masterclass! I’m sharing practices for clearing energy blockages through vocal expression: chants, affirmations, sound meditations, listening practices, exploration of the mechanics and metaphysics of the voice.
It is not a traditional singing class. It is a workshop of vocalization practices to increase your capacity to speak your truth, connect to your intuition, be fully embodied in the present moment, tap into your vitality, playfulness, authenticity, and joy. All voices are welcome.
My work serves holistic-oriented women committed to moving beyond fear and emotional stuckness to voice their truth, expressive arts enthusiasts whose souls are deeply nourished by community vocal rituals, spiritual eclectics who embrace wisdom from a wide variety of sources, or some combination of these.
Through structured group improvisation and vocal embodiment practices, I facilitate sound healing sessions, workshops, private vocal empowerment coaching, retreats, and concerts that “a-ha!” you to new levels of self-discovery, emotional freedom, joy and creative flow. I am a partner artist at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute as a core member of the vocal improvisation ensemble, Moving Star.
