With writing and music as my primary tools, I give performances and workshops focused on spiritual liberation and self-empowerment through creative expression. a vocalist, facilitator and scholar. I am the artistic director for Lush Tongue, a project that uses vocal improvisation and an eclectic, globally multicultural repertoire of music from women composers. I study, explore and play with my cohorts of Moving Star, a vocal improvisation lab at Carnegie Hall.
